ADVOCACY AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE The Advocacy and Professional Development Committee seeks to empower those in the prospect development field to advocate for themselves and the profession. The committee also works to make those outside our community aware of careers in prospect research, prospect management, and data analytics. The committee is currently chaired by Erin Gianni from Suffolk University and Stephanie Snow from Harvard University. Other committee members include:
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers on the Advocacy and Professional Development Committee assist with providing programming, developing educational resources, and creating opportunities for peers to share ideas. Initiatives may include: · Prospect Development for Interns, Student Workers, and Volunteers webinar · Promoting careers in Prospect Development at career fairs · Industry Leader Focus Groups · Educational Guides and Resources Time Commitment: The Advocacy and Professional Development Committee meets monthly by Zoom for 1 hr. Volunteers may be asked to give additional time if they are working on a particular initiative. |
